Upcoming Pokken Tournament Patch Will Remove Shadow Mewtwo’s Infinite Combo

on April 1, 2016 11:27 AM

Pokken Tournament finally hit the Wii U last week, bringing us the first proper Pokemon fighting game outside of arcades. While fans have been generally receiving the game in a favorable light, there is one major complaint.

As previously reported, an infinite combo makes the Shadow Mewtwo character practically broken and unbeatable in multiplayer. A patch is coming to the game in April, and its major hook is fixing this issue. Check out the announced patch notes below:

  • A fix for Shadow Mewtwo where it can cause an infinite combo that cannot be stopped
  • An adjustment for Reshiram
  • Various bug fixes

Pokken Tournament is now available exclusively for the Wii U.
