While Battlefield 4 has been one of the most anticipated titles to play on the next-gen consoles, the Xbox One version of the game has been plagued with some technical issues and frequent crashes, which it seems DICE is set to correct next week.

After posting on theĀ Battlefield 4 forums, an update for the Xbox One version of the game was confirmed by DICE to be heading to the console on the week of December 2nd, mainly to address some of the frequent issues with the game crashing into the home screen after finishing game matches, and other technical issues. Specifically, the forum post by DICE mentions:

“Just a quick note that we’re finalizing the upcoming Xbox One Game Update and aiming to have that live the week of Dec 2. We will share the patch notes for this update soon. The update will focus on stability and performance, and includes a fix for the so-called ‘one-shot kill bug’. Stay tuned for full patch notes.”

Stay tuned for more details on the patch forĀ Battlefield 4 on Xbox One as it nears release next week.
