Uplay+ Trial Version is Now Available for Free on PC Until July 27
You can now play over 100 games for free via Uplay+ trial version on PC until July 27.
This weekend, Ubisoft will be reveling a lot of new stuff about its ongoing projects and unannounced titles. In order to celebrate the upcoming event, the company is offering over two weeks of free trial Uplay+ subscription for PC gamers.
Originally announced during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference, Uplay+ is a subscription service similar to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass. The service is only available for PC users through the Uplay launcher and Stadia, and thus far, there’s been no word on its console versions.
Ubisoft hasn’t revealed any data on the number of subscribers on Uplay+ since its launch, but the service has still way more to go to be as popular as Xbox Game Pass or other well-received subscription services in the industry. Maybe launching the service on consoles might be a proper plan to raise the number of subscribers in the future.
Similar to Xbox Game Pass that provides access to all of the first-party titles at launch, Uplay+ subscription allows you to play every Ubisoft title day-one by a $14.99 monthly fee.
Considering that the French publisher usually launches two or three big titles per year, it might not be a good plan to subscribe for Uplay+ for a long time. That said, the service now has over 100 games published by Ubisoft from previous generations to the latest titles of the company. So, Uplay+ would be a great opportunity for those who have missed many games from Ubisoft studios over the past years.
The trial version of Uplay+ is now accessible via its own launcher and Stadia, but you will need to submit a valid credit card in order to use the service for free until July 27. Remember that if you wouldn’t like to upgrade your subscription to the standard version, you should cancel it before the due date, otherwise you will be charged $14.99.
