Utawarerumono Zan Shows Off Even More Fighters in its Second Character Trailer

Utawarerumono Zan gets a new character trailer featuring Nekone, Maroro, Atuy, and Uruuru & Saraana as they demonstrate their combat prowess.

Utawarerumono Zan‘s second character trailer introduces several characters: Nekone, Maroro, Atuy, and Uruuru & Saraana. In the video we get to see the aforementioned fighters in their combat stylings:

In Utawarerumono Zan, missions have sub-objectives that grant additional rewards and experience if completed. The combat system includes fast combos with very few pauses, and special attacks, including some that can be unlocked by completing specific quests. Character-specific abilities can be improved by leveling up while equipping certain scrolls will grant party-wide effects.

According to the official description:

On the fields of battle, even the unwilling and unusual can become legends. Meet Nekone, Maroro, Atuy, and Uruuru & Saraana, and watch them display their unique talents in combat.

Discover a lost legend in a new light. Utawarerumono Zan is an action-based brawler that reimagines the story of Haku, a man with no memories, and the great conflict that consumes the land he calls home. Take control of over 12 legendary heroes and utilize their unique abilities to engage hordes of enemies in ferocious melee combat. Venture through dynamic battlefields, unleash devastating special moves, and experience a grand tale of war and destiny.

NIS America announced back in April it will bring Aquaplus and Tamsoft’s PS4 exclusive Utawarerumono Zan to the west in Fall 2019. The announcement was leaked by Koch Media France, who uploaded the reveal trailer a few hours too early. There’s a previously released trailer also showcases other characters in battle. And there are plenty of screenshots showing off more of Utawarerumono Zan.
