VA-11 HALL-A: A Cyberpunk Bartender Action's soundtrack is getting a vinyl release via Black Screen Records.

For those that don't know: VA-11 HALL-A is a cyberpunk bartender simulation game with visual novel elements and anime-inspired visuals developed by Sukeban Games and published Ysbryd Games for PC, Mac, and Linux, back in 2016. In my personal -- never wrong -- opinion, it is one of the best hidden-gems of last year. The game is also confirmed to be in development for PS Vita by developer Wolfgame, though a release date for the Sony handheld version has yet to be reveled.

In the game you play as a bartender at the VA-11 HALL-A, a small bar in a dystopian downtown which has a knack for attracting the most fascicainting types of people. Your job is to keep your clients lubricated and in turn you will be made privy to the most interesting of stories across a branching storyline.

As mentioned above, the game has a cyberpunk theme, and takes place in a world where corporations reign supreme, all human life is infected with nanomachines designed to oppress them, and the terrifying White Knights ensure that everyone obeys the laws.

The limited edition double vinyl is poised to release some this summer, and will come with the soundtrack on 180g pink/blue vinyl with a packaging that features orignal artwork by a variety of artists. The tracklist was curated by composer Michael Kelly, and features every song remastered for vinyl (obviously).

It also comes with an exclusive one-sided A2 poster, a 12“ booklet with an fictional *Kira* Miki interview, as well as three download codes for all three installments of the digital soundtrack.

The vinyl soundtrack costs €32.00 and is available to preorder hereVA-11 HALL-A the game is available for $14.99 USD on PC, Mac, and Linux (with a PS Vita version to come).
