Valkyria Chronicles 4 Gets Gorgeous Art and Video Showing Tsundere Rival Minerva
Sega showcases another strong candidate for best Valkyria Chronicles 4 waifu with Minerva Viktor, even if Claude is in for some painful times.
Today Sega revealed more Valkyria Chronicles 4 assets on the official Twitter account “Nikola and Kiara’s Infiltration Diary”.
This time around it’s all about another strong candidate for best girl, Miverva Viktor.
Minerva is the captain of Squad F, fighting alongside Claude’s Squad E. Since the time of the academy, they have been rivals, and she is always trying to beat him in everything.
If your tsundere radar is returning a massive signal with her, mine is as well. That being said, even with the limited footage we saw so far, Claude has been punched, kicked, and slapped by basically every main female member of the cast. Looks like his path is one of suffering, and he hasn’t even met the new valkyria Clymaria yet.
Interestingly, among the tweets, we also learn that Minerva wasn’t planned to be in the game at the beginning, but she was added after designing Kai and Riley.
Among today’s assets we see a video showing quite a few interesting moments focusing on the character, and more of the gorgeous artwork by Character Designer Raita Honjou, showing her in summer and winter combat uniform.
Unlike Claude, who fights commanding a tank, Minerva leads his squad on foot, as a scout.
You can check out video and art below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy more screenshots and interesting info on the setting from this morning, a trailer showcasing the Imperial cast, another trailer, some videos and art featuring Kai and Raz, more videos revealing Zaiga and Ferie, similar videos and art about Riley, abother reveal about Claude, the latest batch of screenshots focusing on the Snow Cruiser Centurion and her crew, an earlier trailer, some more screenshots from a couple of weeks ago, two recent gameplay videos from Taipei Game Show, the first gameplay footage, a recent trailer showcasing the crossover DLC with the first game, another showing a wide range of gameplay features, the previous batch of screenshots and information, the first trailer, more screenshots, more artwork and info, and the first gallery of images.
