Today, during a broadcast from SegaFes in Akihabara, Tokyo Sega finally provided an extensive look at the upcoming DLC "Opposing Valkyria” that will soon be released in Japan forSenjou no Valkyria: Eastern Front, also known in the west as Valkyria Chronicles 4.

The DLC will release in Japan on April 19th for 1,500 yen (or the 4,000 yen Season Pass), and include a chapter in which the new valkyria Crymaria Lewin meets the "original" valkyria from the first game Selvaria Bles.

We get to see a mission in which the two ladies square off on the battlefield as Selvaria puts her colleague's power to the test. Crymaria herself works as a super-powerful Grenadier-type unit. If you're unfamiliar with the game, Grenadiers are the new class introduced with the new game. She is so powerful that moving her costs two command points.

Funnily, the host doesn't seem to be aware that when you're shooting at tanks, you target the blue radiator in the back, which is pretty funny after all these years.

If you want to see more about the game, you can also enjoy our unboxing video of the Japanese 10th-Anniversary memorial edition, and a look at the first, second, and third DLC, on top of another brief video as this same fourth DLC.

Besides the PS4 version released a few days ago, Japan will also get a Switch version that has just been delayed to the fall but will release alongside a port of the original Valkyria Chronicles. The western release will also happen in the fall for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. You can already pre-order it on Amazon for all platforms.
