Today is the last day of teasing, with Sega releasing more content on the official website of the new Valkyria game prior to tomorrow’s scheduled reveal.

This follows the reveal of the first two characters five days ago, followed by the second pair, the third one, the fourth couple and a fifth pair yesterday.

As you can see above, this is the most significant update yet, which is appropriate, since it’s the last. We get to see two new characters on the right, and if I was a betting man, they look like twins.

More importantly, we get to see what appears to see a giant ship. The file name for the image above calls it a “cruiser” and we don’t really know if it’s an actual ship, an airship, or a landship, since those did appear in the series. It could even be designed to travel on ice, given the setting showcased on the official website, and the spikes.

For now, very little is known about the upcoming game, including whether it’s part of the original Valkyria Chronicles saga, something tied to the recent Valkyria Revolution, or a different spin-off entirely. Despite the fact that the series’ developers have expressed the wish to bring the old setting back. That being said, we’ll know very soon.

Platforms haven’t officially been announced yet, but there have been solid hints that the game might be planned for home consoles and PC.

The actual reveal will happen tomorrow (November 20th), so stay tuned here on DualShockers for more info.
