Today Square Enix announced a Japanese release date for the mobile port of the classic JRPG Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth.

The game is actually coming very soon, and more precisely on March 22nd.

What's even more interesting is that it won't be a free-to-play game and the press release doesn't make any mention of microtransactions. It'll be sold for 2,200 yen (just south of $21), with a special discount down to 1,800 yen ($17) until April 8th.

In order to play, you'll need at least an iPhone 5S with iOS 8, or an Android with OS 4.4 and at 2 GB of RAM.

Incidentally, we also hear that cumulative worldwide sales of the series, counting only retail, are at over 2.2 million units. Speaking of worldwide, Square Enix has made no mention of a western release just yet.
