Valorant 'Deadeye' Agent's New Information Teased by Riot

The new agent will focus on "mechanical outplays."

Riot Games recently released some new information about the upcoming Valorant agent, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

Valorant is a popular tactical shooter that features several agents in the game. There are currently 17 agents in the game, the recent one being KAY/O, an Initiator.

Initially, devs wanted to release a new agent in the game with each act. However, the ongoing Episode 3 Act 2 update gave us the new Fracture map. So, we’ll have to wait a little bit more for the next agent.

Valorant New “Deadeye” Agent Teased

The developers teased the next agent, reportedly called ‘Deadeye.’ in the Year One Anthem video. Since then, the entire Valorant community has been waiting for Riot to learn anything about the agent.

Well, you’d be delighted to know that the developers finally revealed new information about “Deadeye” in September 2021’s State of The Agents. Sadly, we still don’t know if the “Deadeye” name for the agent is official or not. But fortunately, it’s now confirmed that the eighteenth agent is a Sentinel. So, after a long wait, we’ll finally get a fourth Sentinel in the game.

Besides confirming the class, the devs revealed that the new agent will focus on “mechanical outplays.” Also, there will be an additional focus on gunplay, which clarifies why Deadeye was shown holding a massive gun in the first teaser.

Every Valorant player is eager to see the new “Deadeye” agent in action. Well, Riot will soon reveal the first look of the upcoming Sentinel, with an exact release date. So, you can expect a lot more teasers coming out your way from the devs.
