Recently, Riot Games announced some significant Yoru rework/buffs for Valorant, and here's everything you need to know about it.

Riot Games released Yoru earlier this year in January with a lot of excitement. However, the Duelist agent didn't live up to players' expectations for several reasons. Fortunately, devs realize that Yoru didn't stand on par with the other agents in Valorant. So, recently, devs announced that the agent is going through some significant changes internally.

Massive Yoru Changes announced By Valorant Devs

Recently, Valorant devs released the State of the Agents - Yoru update on its official website, talking about the problems with the Duelist agent. However, the major highlight of the post is the changes that are planned for the agent.

Firstly, the devs plan to bring significant changes to the 'Fakeout' ability. Apparently, Yoru's fake footsteps will be replaced by a new visual, "a carbon copy of Yoru," that moves forward and explodes when shot by the enemies.

Moreover, the speed of Gatecrash will be increased by 20% while also lowering the range at which enemies can spot it. And if that's not enough, Yoru will get a fake teleport, meaning players can trigger the fake teleport from a distance giving the same sound and visuals as an actual teleport.

According to the official post, the devs are still testing these abilities internally. Meaning, we'll have to wait a bit to get the Yoru reworks in Valorant. Riot didn't give an official release date for these changes, but we can expect the reworks/buffs to arrive sometime next year.

Honestly, the entire Valorant community was asking for Yoru to go through some changes. So, it's good that Riot Games is listening to the community and giving them what they want.
