Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 Update Delayed: New Release Date Explained
We aren't getting new weapon skins for Patch 3.03 either.
Currently, the Valorant community is enjoying Episode 3 Act 1, which was released on June 22nd, 2021. The Act came with a bunch of new content, including the new agent Kay/O. But now, players are looking forward to the release of Episode 3 Act 2.
Initially, Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 was supposed to begin around August 24th, 2021. That’s because the Act 1 battle pass was ending on the same day. However, it looks like players will have to wait a little longer for the next Act.

Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 Update Delayed for Two Weeks
Yesterday, Riot Games released Patch 3.03 to bring some changes in Valorant. The new update nerfed Viper’s ult and introduced more detailed options to customize crosshairs in the game. However, after the update went live, Floxay on Twitter confirmed that Riot has changed the timeline for the upcoming Episode 3 Acts.
Apparently, Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 has been delayed, and the update is now scheduled to release on September 8th/9th. Interestingly, this is around the same time when Berlin Masters start. Similarly, Episode 3 Act 3 is also pushed back by two weeks and will begin on Novemeber 2nd/3rd.
Moreover, Riot didn’t release the new weapon skins bundle for Patch 3.03. The update was supposed to replace the Sentinels of Light bundle with new premium bundle. But sadly, we’ll have to wait for another patch to get new skins.
Of course, Valorant players are disappointed that the upcoming Acts have been delayed for two weeks. But at the same time, everyone is expecting great in-game content for Act 2.
It’s confirmed that Act 2 will give us a new agent, probably alongside a new map. We already know that the new agent is codenamed “Sprinter,” and devs are already teasing the new map through player cards and Night Market. However, you can expect some more leaks surfacing on the internet in a few days.
