Riot Games confirmed last year that its popular FPS title, VALORANT, is coming to mobile. Well, it looks like the developer has started the first playtest of the game in China.

VALORANT is currently a top dog when it comes to competitive first-person shooter titles. In just over two years, the FPS title managed to grab millions of players by the hook because of its addictive gameplay. Unlike other tactical shooters like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Riot Games keeps the game fresh by giving a new agent or map every two months.

Players love grinding the game for hours to master each map or agent while climbing the ranks in the Competitive mode. And right when players think they know every lineup or trick, devs throw in a new agent or map to keep the game challenging for the community.

Looking at the popularity of VALORANT on PC, mobile players have been asking for the game to port for mobile. Well, we don't know when Riot plans to release the mobile version, but we do have some more information on the game's development.

VALORANT Mobile Screenshots Leaked

According to Danny Intel on Twitter, VALORANT Mobile has started its first-ever playtest in China. Interestingly, some images from the testing surfaced online, which include the loading screen, agent select screen, lobby, and one screenshot from the Ascent Map.

It's obviously exciting to see VALORANT Mobile's first screenshots from the testing, but it's safe to say that the game won't get a global release anytime soon.

Before getting the official release, the mobile version will go through a close beta phase. According to ValorLeaks on Twitter, the VALORANT Mobile Beta will get an invite system that will allow you to invite five players.

Nevertheless, we'll hopefully learn more about the mobile version's development in the future. Meanwhile, you can download and enjoy Valorant on PC for free.
