Recently, a rumor surfaced on the internet stating that the Valorant devs might soon reveal a Non-Playable Character (NPC) in the game, and here's everything you need to know about it.

Riot Games' Valorant is one of the most popular first-person shooter titles you could play right now. It's been only a year since Valorant launched, and the game already has more than 14 million players.

Besides several amazing maps, Valorant flaunts multiple agents, each with its own distinct abilities. Of course, all of these Valorant agents are playable, but the game also has some NPCs, according to several leaks.

An NPC in Valorant?

We all know that Valorant developers have been teasing a storyline centered around every agent in the game. And recently, Riot Games released the Duality Lore video to give players something to think about.

Other than that, the developers are also hinting at a non-playable character in the Valorant's universe, and all of this has to with the latest map, Breeze.

According to Valorant Hub's Zakky, this Non-playable-character goes by the name Thurston Wolf. Interestingly, and we can see Wolf's mansion in the background of the Breeze map. However, the mansion is in shambles because it got stuck by a bolt of mysterious lightning.

Apparently, Zakky went on to ask about Wolf's mansion when David Nottingham, the Creative Director of Valorant, held a QnA session on Reddit.

Interestingly, Nottingham confirmed that every Valorant map has a different story. And Thurston Wolf is an NPC character who plays a crucial role in Breeze's backstory. But we'll have to wait a little more to learn the exact story of Wolf in Valorant lore.

Also, as suggested by Zakky in his YouTube video, Breeze and Wolf's backstory is just a side arc. And the developers will soon reveal more information integral to the "Mirror Earth" plotline, which was teased in the Duality lore video.
