Valve is rolling out the troops to help support some of their finest: that being, their dedicated community of modders and mapmakers.

Today, the company has rolled out its new developer support program, “Operation: Payback,” as a show of thanks to their loyal fans and community, while also providing an outlet for some of the premium community maps in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The program offers seven fan-made maps (both new and revivals of previous classics) of use for players in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – Museum, Downtown, Thunder, Favela, Motel, Seaside, and Library.

For a $5.99 pass purchase, players will be allowed unlimited access to these seven maps in low-ping dedicated servers until July 31st, allowing players speedy matches with the new content while also allowing an outlet to support and provide for dedicated mapmakers. Operation: Payback also allows players who purchase a pass to invite friends to their games in the Operation: Payback map group, regardless of whether or not they have a pass to the content, along with an upgradeable Challenge Coin to show their support for the program.

Operation: Payback starts today for $5.99, and continues until July 31st in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
