Players who have been anxiously awaiting the release of the narrative-driven roleplay game Vampyr will be excited to learn that the game has gone gold just a few weeks before its June 5th release. The announcement was made on the game's Twitter page:

For those who don't know, "gone gold," comes from the term “gold master,” which is the official designation for when a piece of software is ready to release. So the fact that the game is ready to launch will be extremely good news for fans who have been eagerly waiting for Vampyr, especially since the announcement of its delay last September.

A fifteen-second video was also tweeted on Thursday featuring an Ekon in action.  Ekons are modeled after more classic vampires like Dracula.

Vampyr is set to be released on June 5th, 2018 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want to pre-order the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here. You can also check out this trailer that was released earlier this month titled "Becoming the Monster."
