Part 2 of Stranger Things Season 4 featured the second fight between Vecna and Eleven. Henry Creel, or Number 1, is one of the most powerful enemies the Hawkins gang has ever faced, so it takes more than Eleven's superhuman abilities to beat this enemy.

The kids learn that Vecna will bring Upside Down to Hawkins after claiming his fourth victim, Max. Steve, Robin, Eddie, Nancy, and Dustin return to Upside Down to kill Vecna while he is in Max's mind. Meanwhile, Eleven gets her powers back, but she is miles away from Hawkins, so she finds another way of helping her friend.

Eleven plans to confront the enemy by entering Max's mind, and things work out in Eleven and Max's favor for a little while. Unfortunately, Vecna overpowers Eleven and gets extremely close to killing Max. Lucas watches Max's arms and legs breaking up, but he is unable to do anything in that situation. However, before Vecna could damage Max's brain, Eleven steps in and defeats Vecna.

On the other hand, Nancy, Robin, and Steve do everything in their power to do physical damage to Henry in Upside Down. They burn Venca's body, and Nancy uses the shotgun to send his body flying out the window. Of course, this makes us believe that Vecna is finally dead, and Eleven and her friends won this fight, but that wasn't the case.

Since Max was dead for over a minute, Vecna successfully opens the fourth gate in Hawkins. So, almost everything worked out according to Henry's plan. On top of that, Will Byers confirms that Vecna is, in fact, alive. Byers has a deep connection with Upside Down, so he can always sense the existence of Mind Flayer or Vecna.

After returning to Hawkins, Will can sense that Vecna is injured and in pain, but the demon from Upside Down isn't dead. Will says to Mike that Vecna won't stop until he kills everyone in this world, so the fight isn't over yet. So, there's a good chance that Vecna will return in Season 5 of Stranger Things, and this time, he'll claim even more innocent lives in Hawkins.
