Velocity 2X Developer Aims to Create R&D Department this Year to Remove the "Dread" of Uncertainity

FuturLab is mostly known for Velocity and Velocity 2X, that was recently ported to Xbox One and PC after its debut on PS4 and PS Vita. At the moment we don’t know what the studio is currently working on, but today Creative Director James Marsden explained a development issue that many often overlook, and what he intends to do to address it.

It must certainly be though, especially for a small independent developer, to work for years on mechanics that might eventually not work.

Personally, having enjoyed Velocity 2X quite a lot back when it was released on PS4, I really can’t wait what Marsden and his team will create next. Hopefully a reveal isn’t too far.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
