Fatshark Games has released the Back to Ubersreik DLC for Warhammer Vermintide 2 on PC today, and announced that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will come out on December 18.

This DLC lets you travel back to three classic maps from Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide in Vermintide 2. These maps are The Horn of Magnus, Garden of Morr, and Engines of War. Each come with new quests, challenges, weapons, and illusions. Back to Ubersreik costs $9.99 USD on Steam and launches next Tuesday for PlayStation and Xbox players.

The release trailer for Back to Ubersreik, which can be viewed below, shows off the remastered maps and how the improved gameplay of Vermintide 2looks in them. The original Vermintide released in 2015 for PC and one year later for consoles, with its sequel, Vermintide 2, following in March of 2018. An Xbox One version was released over the summer in July, and the PlayStation 4 version will launch alongside the DLC on December 18. Both games are cooperative multiplayer titles in which each player picks a specific class in order to make their way through a map filled with enemies and fulfill missions and earn loot to upgrade their equipment and abilities.

Upon the heroes discovering an Ubersreik Lodestone, Olesya - the resident spy-master and grey wizard - sends the heroes into an illusion of Ubersreik. Claimed to be the birthplace of Sigmar, the city of Ubersreik lies at the mouth of the Grey Lady Pass. As the heroes return everything appears to be … sort of the same. In the second DLC for Vermintide 2, the heroes return to Ubersreik to uncover the dark truth hidden within the city.
