Video Interview Explains Why War of the Roses Is Not For Dummies

War of the Roses is a challenging game. There’s absolutely no doubt about that. While working on the review (that you’ll be able to read soon), I found myself seeing more crotch shots of my enemies that I care to remember, as they were executing me after soundly beating my face into the mud.

While I won’t spoil the review yet, looks like that level of challenge is a positive thing not just for me, but also for Paradox Interactive.

Today the publisher released a video interview where Shams Jorjani and Gordon van Dyke explain why War of the Roses can afford to kick us in the teeth, as opposed to the usual Call of Duty or Battlefield. You can check it out below.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
