Visceral Games Working on “a Number” of Unannounced Next Gen Games With State-of-the-Art Visuals

Rumors have been floating around on the upcoming projects of Dead Space developer Visceral Games, and today a career opportunity ad seeking a Development Director for Visceral’s studio in Shanghai gives us a glimpse on what they may be:

Visceral Games is the new home for Action game development across all of Electronic Arts. Visceral is focused on developing the next generation of action games with state-of-the-art technology, visuals, and audio that provides deep immersive gaming experiences.

Working in a collaborative environment, the Shanghai, Redwood Shores, Montreal, Los Angeles, and Melbourne studios make up the Visceral Games group. Visceral Games Shanghai provides integrated development support, specializing in art production. The studio has worked with other Visceral Game studios in co-developing top titles like Dead Space, Dead Space 2, Dante’s Inferno, a number of as yet unannounced titles.

At the moment we don’t yet know exactly what we can expect from Visceral, so we should wait for the official announcements coming from Electronic Arts before we draw conclusions, but the ad is fairly descriptive, and at the very least gives us a glimpse on the future.

Will Dead Space 4 be part of that “number?” Personally, I definitely hope so.
