Today, Vive has announced new information regarding its every-growing subscription-based game service Viveport.

According to the press release, those subscribed to Viveport Subscription will receive more bang for their buck. At the new $8.99 subscription price ($2 more from its original price), subscribers will have access to bonuses, including exclusive discounts as well as opportunities to snag free (select) titles, as well as the option to download up to five titles per month. According to Vive, this new price and benefits will allow developers to earn around 22% more revenue per game in the Subscription catalog. Of course, Vive has promised that has Viveport grows; it will continue adding new feature and benefits to increase the subscription value.

The company has also confirmed that despite the $2 price increase, the official price increase will not go into effect until March 22. Meaning current subscribers, and those who sign up before March the date previously mention will be locked in at the current $6.99 price point through at least the end of 2018. On top of that, they will still enjoy all the new membership perks associated with the $8.99 price tag.
