Volume's New Trailer Reveals the Various Enemies You'll Encounter While Sneaking Around

January 12, 2015

Mike Bithell, the developer behind the hit indie game Thomas Was Alone, has released a new trailer today for his latest game, Volume, that features all of its lovely bad guys.

The video shows the protagonist Locksley sneaking through the game’s various stealth challenges while being confronted by several different foes. There are your basic henchmen-type in Pawns, the static Turret that can spot you and a melee unit called the Knight that can all easily impede your progress as currently presented. But add more elaborate villains like Rogues that have large peripheral vision cones, Hounds with the ability to call in support with their howls and Archers that have extremely narrow but long distance sight, and you have a well rounded cast of enemies to provide a significant challenge.

You can check out the full trailer and all of its Metal Gear Solid meets Frozen Synapse visuals below. Volume is a stealth based game that takes inspiration from Robin Hood, with Locksley committing crimes while trying to draw minimal attention. You can expect to play Volume sometime in 2015 on PS4, PS Vita, PC and Mac.
