Today Sega announced the Japanese release date of VR Figure from Shining.

If you're unfamiliar with the title, it's a standalone VR minigame featuring Kirika Towa Alma from Shining Resonance Refrain.

The game will release in Japan exclusively for PlayStation VR on July 11th, and it will be distributed via Japanese PlayStation Store for 1,000 yen. That's about five bucks at the current exchange rate.

The point of the experience is to check out Kirika from all angles and to enjoy a date with her. It's basically a nice little feature for the fans, even if it isn't an experience of the same scope of Summer Lesson.

At the moment there is no information on whether there will be future releases featuring different characters from the game or not.

You can check out a few screenshots below, and you can also enjoy some gameplay.

If you're more interested in the full game, Shining Resonance Refrain already launched in Japan for PS4 on March 29th, 2018, while the Switch version will hit the shelves on July 12th. The western release will come for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 10th.
