If you're a fan of developer FuturLab then there is good news. Today, the creators behind the popular side-scrolling shooter Velocity 2X have officially announced their latest game, Mini-Mech Mayhem.

As of the time of this writing, not much is known about the game, aside from the fact it will be some kind of robot fighting game launching in 2018. You will be able to play as a large robot, while another smaller robot (hence the name) will help you out. It's unknown whether the smaller robot will be controlled by an AI or if another player can hop in and help you out.

FuturLab says that more news about the game will be revealed in the coming months. You can check out what may be the cover art of the game at the end of the article.

The game will be available exclusively on PlayStation VR, and will launch sometime in 2018. This isn't the first time that FuturLab has made a VR title -- earlier this year the developer released their latest game Tiny Trax on the aforementioned console, which is a racing title similar in style to Hot Wheels. Safe to say Mini-Mech Mayhem seems to be pretty different from that, although the developer did say that they learned a lot about VR from the game.

As mentioned above, Mini-Mech Mayhem will launch on PS VR sometime in 2018. Check out the art release, below:
