VR Kanojo’s New Trailer Fully Crosses the NSFW Line; Lets You Do What Summer Lesson Never Will [UPDATE]

Illusio's VR Kanojo shows that it's definitely not as tame as its PlayStation VR cousin.

Illusion’s VR Kanojo has courted the not-safe-for-work boundaries quite a bit in its latest trailers, but today it’s finally time to abandon all restraints, and the new video shows that the game certainly isn’t as tame as it might appear due to the fairly mild marketing so far.

After all it’s Illusion, a developer known for its hardcore adult games, so this comes as no surprise.

The trailer shows how you can use the Oculus Touch or the HTC Vive controller to touch Sakura-chan in different ways and on different areas with either hand independently.

It’s also possible to approach her from the back, you dirty, dirty boy.

If you don’t have a touch controller, operation will be performed via the mouse, resulting in a considerably less immersive experience, likely losing the ability to control your virtual hands independently.

While the game carries many similarities with Bandai Namco’s Summer Lesson, it’s obvous that the PlayStation VR exclusive won’t ever let you do this kind of stuff (and probably much more. Knowing Illusion, they have just started).

If you want to see more, you can check out the the first trailer, a second oneanother 360 degrees view of Sakura, a third trailer that introduced the touch features, and a fourth showcasing the “interactive mode,” a fifth showing off costumes, and a sixth showing some much more tame poking and touching.

VR Kanojo will be released on PC (supporting Oculus Rift and HTC Vive) on February 28th, 2017, and has been recently greenlit on Steam.

You can check the trailer out below, but it goes without saying, don’t watch this at work unless your boss is really a good sport.

Update: YouTube has apparently terminated the official account of the game. All that remains of the content of the video are the pictures below, showing the features in a much more static way. We’ll update this post if an alternate upload is found. Keep in mind that the image is slightly not safe for work, so click on it at your own risk.
