Today, developer Schell Games announced its plans to bring its award-winning virtual reality game, I Expect You To Die, to PlayStation VR sometime this December.
CEO of Schell Games Jesse Schell accompanied the announcement with the following statement:
“We’re thrilled to be working with Sony to bring the incredibly immersive, secret agent world of I Expect You To Die to PlayStation®VR owners later this year. The game offers a VR experience unlike any other that’s challenging, fun and full of nail-biting suspense, and we can’t wait to see it in the hands of console players to see how they do.”
Created specifically for VR, I Expect You To Die is a spy-themed puzzle game where players step into the gloves of an elite secret agent and attempt to survive various deadly situations using “skills and wits.” In regards to story the premise is quite simple: you are attempting to thwart the evil Dr. Zor without succumbing to his array of traps and tricks that may cause an untimely demise. If you couldn’t guess from the title, you’re going to die quite a few times. And with over 30 unique ways to do so, Schell Games promises it will be entertaining.
I Expect You To Die is also expected to release for Oculus Rift with Oculus Touch support. However, a release date for this version is still a mystery. A price point for either version is also currently unknown.
