VUDU Coming to PSN on November 23

As if Playstation 3 owners didn’t have enough entertainment options to choose from, on November 23 HD streaming movie service VUDU will go live on the PSN for all Playstation 3 owners.  The on-demand streaming program will offer a ginormous library of movies to stream in true 1080p HD format, making the PS3 the only console to offer such a service.

Still not sure about it?  When the service launches next week new customers will receive a $5.99 credit to watch their first movie for free and try the program out.

Eh, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m fine enough with Hulu and Netflix both on my PS3.  While HD streaming sounds pretty sexy, I don’t know if I’d be willing to pay $5.99 per each movie to get that kinda eye candy.  We’ll see how the service goes when it launches November 23.

Allen Park

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
