Compile Heart and Idea Factory will launch VVVtune in Japan on July 7, 2020. The date was revealed in this month's Dengeki PlayStation magazine (the magazine's regular publication is ending next month).  As a reminder, VVVtune is a PS4 exclusive and is part of the celebrations for the Neptunia franchise's 10th anniversary. The biggest appeal of the game is how it features many Virtual YouTubers, if you're into that, and how it has an OST by Kagerou Project's Jin/Shizen no Teki-P.

New Vtubers appearing in VVVtune were also revealed:

The official site for VVVtune will also fully open on February 28. We should get more details and in-game screenshots for all the Vtubers then.

VVVtune wasn't announced in the west yet. It'll probably be localized as VVVtunia when Idea Factory International announces the game worldwide. This will keep the usual western naming convention of the series. The trailer is included below and shows some new gameplay. We detailed everything about VVVtune's story and setting in our past coverage.

If you want to hear my Unneeded Opinion on the Neptunia franchise, I'm always amazed the series didn't die right away seeing how hilariously bad the very first game was, and how it did get better but not by that much either over the years. Having Jin's Kagerou Project is definitely nice. However, besides a very small handful of Vtubers like Kaguya Luna and DWU, Virtual YouTubers are probably one of the last things I'd buy a game for.
