Want a PS4 From Amazon Germany? You’ll Have to Wait Until After Christmas or Longer

on October 5, 2013 1:30 PM

Amazon Germany just posted a notice on its listing page for the PS4 that will sound rather sad for German customers that still have to preorder the console.

All preorders that took place after September the 30th 2013 are expected to be delivered after Christmas, but no later than the end of January 2014. Customers with a delivery address in Germany that have preordered the console before and including August the 5th 2013 will receive it on release date. Preorders between August the 7th and September the 30th will be delivered as soon as possible depending on availability before Christmas. We will inform you of the exact delivery date (if known) by e-mail and in your order summary.

For now Amazon Germany is the first European Amazon store to post such a radical notice, while the others all promise the console at launch until varying cut-off dates, and the rest before Christmas.

Either Amazon Germany got a lower allocation than the other branches from Sony, or the Germans really love the upcoming PlayStation.
