You know how Metal Gear Solid games sometimes have VR Missions attached? Well, seeing as how Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a Metal Gear game (no matter what some of you may think), it’s get a whopping 30 all-new DLC missions, and it’ll only be available on the PS3.

According the the Playstation Blog (where you can see screenshots of the missions), the VR Mission Pack will come with a mix of combat training, tactical maneuvering, stealth-based challenges, and more. The missions will also take place in the classic VR (virtual reality) look inspired by the original Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions, blending a classic feel with current gameplay that’s supposed to please both veteran players and newcomers to the franchise.

You can even take control of the freaky little Dwarf Gekko. Because fans have been waiting to do that their whole lives.

This news comes just after the reveal of the Unmanned Gears trailer, and all of the other news that’s been coming out regularly regarding the upcoming game, including the Augmented trailer, the bonus content trailers, the Zandatsu trailer, the Inferno Armor, the Suit Overview trailer, and a trailer detailing some of the new bosses. The game is set to release real, real soon, on February 19, 2013; for any more news, stay tuned to DualShockers.com.
