Last year's Octodad was an unbridled, surprising success, bringing the kind of attention to the DePaul University student devs that other indie devs dream about. The quirky, hilarious adventure game featuring a family man that lives with the secret that he's actually an octopus, I've gushed extensively about it and even interviewed the guys at GDC, where they said there were indeed plans for a sequel.

Now it looks like they're going to put that plan in motion, as word from the IndieGames blog states that the DePaul students, now with a new indie studio called Young Horses, have created a Kickstarter page to help fund their Octodad 2. If you loved the hell out of the first one, as I did, you should probably donate, even if it's a dollar. I have no doubt that they'll meet their goal, but hey, sooner rather than later, right?
