on February 11, 2014 2:37 PM

Last month, Valve hosted a two day conference in Seattle, Washington on January 15-16th, where they invited developers and publishers to view or participate in “Steam Dev Days:” workshops and presentations on developing for Steam machines and working with Steamworks Developments.

For those of you who couldn’t make it, Valve has released these presentations as 28 videos, which are now all available on their Steamworks Development YouTube page under the Steam Dev Days playlist.

Some of these conferences includes such topics as In-Game Economies in Steam games, embracing user-generated content, Linux game development, Oculus development, and marketing games. So if you’re an indie game developer looking to get jumpstarted with Steam, this is a great free way to get some tips.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
