A new trailer for the 2D platform downloadable game War of the Worlds was released today. It's entitled the "Tripod" trailer though we don't see much of them. It is once again narrated by Patrick Steward himself.

The art style is kind of similar to Limbo, another excellent 2D platform downloadable game, but it would be kind of unfair to compare every black and white game to Limbo. It's clearly more action packed and seems very story-centric. I am excited for this.

The game is being made by  Other Ocean and is due out the 26th of October on XBLA. It's also on its way to the PSN but no release dates have been announced. Trailer after the breakity break.
