Today Gaijin Entertainment officially announced that its online flight simulator War Thunder (that is currently for PC Only, but is soon going to be released on PS4 as well), reached and overtook the 3,000,000 registered players milestone.

Since we're talking about numbers, the developer also released a few more statistics:

• One billion (1,000,000,000) units destroyed
• Over 600,000,000 sorties flown
• Over 30,000,000 hours flown in War Thunder, which translates to 3,500 years

Having played quite a bit of the beta of the game, I'm not at all surprised that it's doing well. It's a lot of fun, and the level of detail is stunning. I bet a lot more players will join when the game  launches on PS4.
