If you’ve been wondering when you’ll be able to get your hands on the latest expansion for Warframe then you’re in luck. Today, independent developer Digital Extremes announced that the long-awaited expansion titled Plains of Eidolon will be making its way to the console versions of the free-to-play third-person shooter in just a few days — on November 14, 2017, to be exact.
In Plains of Eidolon, players will have an all-new, open-world area to explore, which will include day and night cycles. Up to four people will be able to explore this new area and, if they do so during the day, will be able to be assigned missions a brand new social space called Cetus, which can hold up to 50 players at one time.
Plains of Eidolon was originally announced back in July of 2017. It was revealed that it would be the largest expansion to come to Warframe. Just like on PC, Plains of Eidolon will be available as a free download for anyone who owns the base game, which in and of itself is also free to download.
Warframe was originally released on March 25, 2013 for the PC, and has since made its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
