With Wargame Red Dragon‘s last Overview Trailer, an emphasis was given on how important the geography in Asia was to gameplay, with the strategic use of the landscape and water areas meaning victory in combat. The newly released Naval Trailer, which you can view below, gives us a gorgeous look at what that kind of combat may look like.

Publisher Focus Home Interactive has also announced today that the game is currently available for pre-order on Steam, where purchasers can gain exclusive access to the multiplayer beta in the next few days, along with a 25% discount on developer Eugen Systems’ previous title, Wargame: Airland Battle.

Wargame Red Dragon is the follow up to Wargame: European Escalation and Wargame: Airland Battle, a series that combines real-time strategy with alternate history Cold War. Eugen Systems’ Wargame Red Dragon will be taking players to Asian shores with units based on real vehicles, with combat centering around a range of units for air, ground and naval battles.

Wargame Red Dragon will include multiplayer with up to 20 simultaneous players, set to release on PC during the second quarter of 2014, and will be optimized for smartphones and tablets upon its launch on mobile devices. For more on the game, check out the Wargame Red Dragon trailer below, and the previously revealed Overview Trailer and screenshots.
