NeocoreGames, who are known for developing the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series, have been working on Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr over the past few years, with the game being available on PC via Early Access since last August. Today, the developers finally announced that the game will launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 8 in North America.

Unfortunately, those of you in Europe will have to wait until May 11 in order to get your hands on the game. For those of you who don't know, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is the first Action RPG set in the Warhammer universe. It follows the story of a player-created Inquisitor in the Caligari Sector.

In either single-player and multiplayer, players must fight off hordes of heretics, mutants, and Chaos Daemons in order to survive. If you want to see an earlier build of the game in action, you can check out our video preview of the game from 2016.
