THQ has announced that Exterminatus: the free co-op add-on for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, previously delayed on Xbox 360 due to a connectivity problem surfaced at the very last moment, is already available on Xbox live in some regions as I write, and will be available in the others shortly (before the official release timeframe, tomorrow morning at 9 AM PST).

At last owners of the Xbox 360 version of THQ's third person shooter/brawler (that I reviewed here) can join the co-op fray and exterminate some Orks alongside the rest of the world. Welcome brothers!

UPDATE: amusingly enough (even if I'm sure many won't be amused at all), the problems don't seem to have ended for our Xbox-dwelling brothers, as the ones that are able to see the update aren't able to download it, as xbox live requires four billion Microsoft points for the update. Looks like Microsoft applied all the interest that will accumulate from now to the year 40,000. Well Played.

In all seriousness, THQ specified that the problem should be solved soon.
