In an interesting switcharoo, Atari, the publisher for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings in North America when it came out on the PC, will not be handling those duties for the Xbox 360 version. Instead, it seems that Warner Bros. will be publishing the title. Along with that announcement, a new promise of this game being "one of the best-looking games ever released on Xbox 360" came from Adam Kicinski of CD Projekt RED, the game's developer.

Warner Bros. had this to say about the partnership: "“We are very pleased to partner with CD Projekt RED to bring ‘The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings’ to consoles in the United States, Canada and Mexico. [The] Witcher is a AAA franchise that fits well with our strategic distribution of high quality games, making it a great addition to our 2012 line-up in North America.”

No firm release date for the Xbox 360 version of the game has been announced yet, but it should hit in Q1 of 2012.
