Today Koei Tecmo announced via Twitter that we won’t have too long to wait until we get more information on Warriors Orochi 4, or Musou Orochi 3 as it’s known in Japan.

To be more precise, the brief message mentioned that new info about the game is coming on May 10th, so just a week away.

Since it’s a Thursday, it’s very likely that the reveal will appear on Famitsu, which means that a lot of it might probably be leaked around Tuesday, and should be officially published on when it’s still Wednesday in the west.

If you’re wondering why the game is titled Musou Orochi 3 in Japan, the reason is more or less similar to the discrepancy in the Dynasty Warriors series, but in this case it’s because the second game (Warriors Orochi 2) wasn’t called Musou Orochi 2 in Japan, but Musou Orochi Maou Sairin. When Japan continued with Musou Orochi 2, the western side of Koei Tecmo called it Warriors Orochi 3.

At the moment Warriors Orochi 4 doesn’t have any revealed platform, but we know that it’ll come west in 2018.

Of course, as soon as we learn something, you’ll be able to read it here on DualShockers.
