Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate Reveals Ryu Hayabusa Is Back with a New Trailer

Ninja Gaiden's protagonist Ryu Hayabusa is back in Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate.

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force revealed that Ninja Gaiden‘s Ryu Hayabusa is coming back to the Orochi Musou series. Ryu Hayabusa is one of the collaboration characters coming back in Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate, along with Bladestorm‘s Jeanne d’Arc. A short trailer showing Hayabusa in action is included below.

Ryu Hayabusa’s return was teased in a Famitsu interview with Producer Tomohiko Sho, which we covered. In the interview, Tomohiko Sho also explained the new Infinity Mode and how it has multi-layered, morphing maps. He also spoke about brand-new character Gaia.

Koei Tecmo first teased Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate with a short video in late August. The game then ended up getting leaked by shop listings. Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate includes 7 new characters, for a total of 177 characters. Three of them were revealed as of now: Gaia, Jeanne d’Arc, and now Ryu Hayabusa.

Musou Orochi 3 Ultimate, as it’s known in Japan, launches there in December on PS4 and Switch, and in February on PC via Steam.

The western version, Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate, will launch in February for PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. You can check out our review of the original game to learn more.
