Warzone and Modern Warfare - August 24 Patch Notes

According to Raven Software's Twitter account, the update deployed on August 24 for both Modern Warfare and Warzone implements the following change:

"As some of you have noticed, mid-match Loadout editing has been reenabled for Warzone pre-match lobby, Plunder, and ModernWarfare multiplayer. Enjoy! :)"

No further patch notes were revealed by the developers, so it appears that the only change in the latest update revolves around mid-match Loadout editing.

What Is Mid-Match Loadout Editing In Modern Warfare and Warzone?

So, with mid-match loadout editing being the only change in the August 24 Warzone and Modern Warfare update, what exactly is it?

Well, the feature arrived in Warzone for what felt like 5 minutes before being removed almost instantaneously. But it has been present in Modern Warfare since the title was released, until being removed alongside Warzone.

But now it's finally back and the feature does exactly what it says, it allows players to edit their loadouts after the match has started. Of course, the change won't take effect until the next time you die. But it's a handy feature if you're testing out different attachments or just don't like something about your class anymore.

Once players have updated to the latest version of both Modern Warfare and Warzone, they'll see the return of mid-match loadout editing.
