After being rotated out in favour of Fortune's Keep, Rebirth Island will finally return to Call of Duty: Warzone later this week.

When Season Four: Mercenaries of Fortune launched last week, Warzone players were treated to a brand new Resurgence map known as Fortune's Keep. To give players some time with the new map, Rebirth Island was removed from the playlist rotation.

But, with Rebirth Island being one of the most iconic maps in Warzone history, Raven Software didn't intend on keeping it out of the playlist for long.

When Is Rebirth Island Coming Back To Warzone?

As confirmed by Raven Software, Rebirth Island will return to Call of Duty: Warzone on Thursday, June 30th, 2022. Playlists change every Thursday at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST; once the in-game update goes live, players will once again be able to jump into Rebirth Island.

If you've been enjoying your time on Fortune's Keep, there's no need to panic. The new map will be sticking around even with the return of Rebirth Island. The bad news is that Rebirth Island will only be available to play in Quads until the week of July 21st.

From July 21st, both Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep will be available in Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads, but will rotate between the two maps every day from 10AM PT. Until then, players will be able to jump into Fortune's Keep in Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads, whilst Rebirth Island will only be available in Quads.

The week of July 21st will also include 'Payload', a 12v12 team deathmatch style mode played exclusively on Rebirth Island. The full playlist lineup for the first half of Season Four can be found in the tweet below.
