With Season Two of Warzone less than twenty-four hours away, many fans are wondering what the Warzone Season 2 update size will be. We've put together our rough estimate on what the size is likely to be across all platforms. If like me, you can't get enough of the rumours and teasers leading up to Season Two, check out all of the DualShockers Call of Duty content!

What Will The Update Size Be - DualShockers Estimates pre-update?

There's nothing official yet when it comes to the size of Season Two's update. But based on previous update sizes, we think we've put together a pretty good guess.

The latest Cold War patch went live this morning (February 24), and the update size across all platforms was:

  • Xbox - 15GB to 22GB
  • PC - 30GB
  • PlayStation - 11GB to 13GB

When Season One of Warzone and Cold War went live back in December of 2020, the update size across all platforms was:

  • Xbox - 27GB to 35GB
  • PC - 62GB to 70GB
  • PlayStation - 21GB to 42GB

If you take into account the previous update size for Season One, it's likely Season Two will have a similar file size. However, Activision did announce they would be trying to keep update sizes down, but with the recent Cold War update I'm not sure how true that is.

I'd expect PlayStation users to have the smallest update size, ranging between 20GB and 35GB. Whilst PC usually has a much higher update size of anywhere between 40GB and 70GB. Xbox users can expect to have a similar size as PlayStation, possibly between 25GB and 45GB.

These numbers are simply speculation, fans likely won't get to know the exact size until the Warzone Season 2 update goes live.
