It's fair to say that the weapon meta is the best it's ever been in Call of Duty: Warzone, but Raven Software felt there were still some essential nerfs required in the Season 6 update.

With Season 6 now live in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, there's plenty of new content to discover in both games. But if you're eager to discover if your favourite weapon has been nerfed in the latest Warzone update, here's what you need to know.

Season 6 Warzone Nerfs and Buffs Explained

As mentioned previously, the weapon meta in Warzone is currently the best it's ever been. So thankfully, there weren't that many nerfs or buffs to report on with the Season 6 update.

Weapons that received nerfs were the C58 Assault Rifle, EM2 Assault Rifle, MG 82 Light Machine Gun, and the Stoner 63 Light Machine Gun. All of these weapons received either an increase in recoil, gun kick or reload interrupt time.

No weapons received any buffs in today's update, but there were two new weapons added, these are the Grav Assault Rifle and the .410 Ironhide Shotgun. It's yet to be discovered if these weapons are at all overpowered.
