Every battle royale game has its problems. Usually, players have to be wary of the random cheater here or there. However, for Call of Duty: Warzone players, cheaters are just the tip of the iceberg. Fans of Activision's battle royale have been dealing with Stim glitches for months now. And after it seemed like Warzone was finally rid of the problem, it's returned once more.

The Stim is an important piece of equipment in Call of Duty: Warzone. It replenishes a player's sprint and immediately regenerates health. While the item is often used for getting out of battles or healing in sticky situations, it can also be abused. Stim glitches that let players use the item infinitely have been popping up since October 2020. While the glitch has been patched out multiple times, it's always found its way back into the game somehow.

Found out the stim glitch is back by spectating a hacker... from r/CODWarzone

This time around, the return of the Stim glitch was revealed on Reddit. A clip on the Warzone subreddit shows a spectator view of a cheater using Stims to survive outside of the game's safe zone. It's not entirely clear, but the cheater somehow uses the prompt to throw back a grenade to get infinite Stims. The rest of the clip shows them running around in the gas, which usually depletes the player's health. Instead, by spamming Stims, the cheater is able to move around freely.

Reactions to the resurgence of the Stim glitch on Reddit have been extreme. Many users, tired of seeing the same glitch abused over and over again, are calling for the removal of the Stim. Developer Raven Software has other options though. Users have suggested adding a cooldown for using the Stim or making the gas deal more damage. For now, it's up to Raven Software to figure out how to combat this potentially game-ruining glitch.
