The Warzone Train Has Officially Crashed In Verdansk

At approximately 6PM BST, reports began circulating on social media that the train circling Verdansk had crashed.

If you haven’t had the chance to jump into Warzone and check it out for yourself, check out the short clip below courtesy of ItsRake on Twitter.

As you can tell from the short clip, the train has crashed inside of a tunnel which can be located north of the Hospital POI.

So, what does it all mean? Why has the Train that once circled Verdansk suddenly come to a halt?

Why Has The Warzone Train Crashed?

On Thursday, August 19th, a new event will take place inside of Warzone. This upcoming event will be for the official reveal of Call of Duty 2021, also known as Call of Duty: Vanguard.

The event has been teased by the Call of Duty social media accounts for some time now and will be called the ‘Battle For Verdansk’.

During the Battle for Verdansk, players will have to work together with their squad to target an incoming heavily armored train that is en route to Verdansk. Players will be required to grab TNT, coordinate with your team and ambush the incoming train.

So, it appears that the train crashing in Verdansk is simply an easter egg of things to come in the Vanguard Reveal Event.
