Good things have come to those who have early access. It just so happens that the beta of Wasteland 2 is now available through Steam Early Access, which allows players who didn't back the game on Kickstarter last year (raising more than $3 million in pledges) a chance to play the post-apocalyptic role-playing game before its official launch.

The release on Steam Early Access comes after the Wasteland 2 beta was handed out to Kickstarter backers earlier this week. The $59.99 game includes a handful of Early Access-exclusive bonuses such as: a copy of the original Wasteland, two digital novellas set in the Wasteland world, Mark Morgan's original soundtrack and a digital concept art book.

30% of the game levels are playable including AI, gear, inventory, creatures, line-of-sight, exploration, world-maps, fast travel, dialogue, and more. It will include quests, memorable characters and NPCs. While the game is in the early access phase, expect new levels to be added ongoing; along with new weapons, NPCs and bug fixing.
