Robots & Rangers is the official title for the new patch of Wasteland 3 that brings in some interesting content and a few minor fixes to the game. You can download it right now on any platform that you own the game.

Highlighting the biggest features coming with patch 1.3, first I should mention the Tourist difficulty level, which is going to be the easiest way to play Wasteland 3, designed especially for those who are not familiar with tactical RPGs but would like to enjoy the setting and story of the game. Not many details have been revealed about this difficulty level, other than the fact that combats will take a back seat in the Tourist mode.

Two new costumes will be added to the game and those who have already finished the Cornered Rats mission in Garden of the Gods will receive them automatically. The Handmaiden Wizard and Knight costumes will let you "roleplay all your Robots & Rangers fantasies."

Along with the costumes, two new achievements, The Book Learning and Answering Machine, will now be available to unlock. If you have difficulties with getting the former, make sure to talk to Magistrate Silas Watkins in Downtown Colorado Springs after meeting with Patriarch for the first time.

When it comes to bug fixes, one animation stuttering bug in moving characters - mostly noticeable on PS4 - will be fixed by this new patch. Also, those who use the keyboard and mouse on consoles will now have more control over the key customizations and can bound more keys to the keyboard or mouse, including camera panning action.

Wasteland 3 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. Similar to all first-party titles of Microsoft, you can play it for free if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber. Make sure to check out the review of the game on DualShockers if you are doubtful about getting Wasteland 3.
